Our flagship initiative, ROSE CODE™ Labs, bridges the digital divide. A ROSE CODE™ Lab is a computer lab where girls, teachers, and other community members can go for free access to a computer and the internet.
40% of people in low-income countries have internet access, yet 90% of adolescent girls and young women in these regions are offline.
Without internet access and digital skills, they cannot access resources and employment opportunities.
In November 2024, we opened our first Lab in partnership with Camara Education at the Songea Girls School in Tanzania. We transformed a disused school building into a tech-enabled learning hub with 40 computers and trained local teachers in digital instruction—impacting 832 students and integrating digital learning into every classroom.
We ensure that women and girls have access to high-quality education, skills training, and resources so they can transform their lives. We help close the gender gap in education by supporting STEM learning, educational infrastructure, and skill-building for girls and women around the world.
We create pathways for women to achieve financial independence. Through investments in job training, entrepreneurship, and inclusive economic systems, we support women in building stable, dignified livelihoods that uplift families and communities.
We invest in training and employment of women to recover plastic and support the economy in areas where pollution and gender inequality are the greatest. One project we support is Project Hara Kal in Kerala, India, which trains local women to collect and stop low-value plastics from reaching the ocean.
Through Project Hara Kal, 820 female waste workers are formally trained and employed. To date, 23,446,319 pounds of plastic waste have been removed from the environment.
We collaborate with Abahizi Rwanda, an employee-owned handbag and accessory manufacturer committed to uplifting the livelihoods of women and transforming the surrounding community. Employees receive continuous vocational training, fair wages, employee ownership, financial literacy, and continuing education. To date, 300 jobs have been created and 2000 families have been positively impacted.
We source our 100% fair-trade mint oil from Pavitramenthe, a regenerative organic farm in India. We specifically source from women farmers to support economic empowerment and promote gender equity. All of Pavitramenthe’s products are organic & Fair for Life (FFL) Certified.
We partner with suppliers who invest in women while producing environmentally sustainable products. These partnerships promote income security, social impact, and regenerative practices.
We embed environmental responsibility into every decision we make, from the ingredients in our products to the way we design our packaging and manage our supply chain. Our commitment is simple: create products that are good for people and the planet.
Beauty packaging contributes 120 billion units of trash annually.
We support the recovery of as much plastic waste from nature as we use in our packaging, supply chain, and shipping.
Through our partnership with rePurpose Global, we measure and offset our plastic footprint by funding programs that recover and recycle the equivalent amount of plastic we produce while also creating green jobs for women around the world.
1lb of plastic used = 1lb of plastic recovered ethically
By 2030, we strive to achieve the following impact milestones
